  • Assisted in econometric analysis of five projects — subnational reelection and corruption, subnational reelection and spending, media coverage in elections, perceived insecurity and migration, voting patterns in congress — replicating ITS models, two-way fixed effects and shift-share instruments in R, with papers submitted to journals including Public Choice.
  • Measured the media visibility of five illicit economies in Peru by web scraping and analyzing 747,836 unique headlines from El Comercio and La República (2016–2024) using a multichannel pipeline and a proximity search dictionary in R.

  • Was part of the technical team for three behavioral measurement instruments for the Peruvian electoral context: the 2026 Electoral Profile Survey, two survey experiments and a behavioral map, providing strategic inputs for the JNE's institutional policy.
  • Segmented the Peruvian electorate by applying clustering to survey data from three electoral cycles (2011, 2016, 2021), generating typological voter profiles as inputs for JNE policies.

  • Analyzed implementation gaps in over 60,000 municipal public works (2018–2024) for a project in collaboration with the Swiss Cooperation Agency, applying supervised machine learning (XGBoost, SHAP values) to predict subnational execution deficits and identify key underperformance factors.
  • Built and cleaned district- and regional-level databases integrating administrative records from MEF, RENAMU and INEI for research on corruption, municipal performance and migration.
